Corporate
Simplicity
Simplicity:
freedom from complexity,
intricacy, or division into parts
KISS = Keep it
simple stupid. Let's look at a really good example:
Nucor Corporation is made up of 11,600 employees
& operates
one of the leanest corporate organizations in the nation. A typical
Fortune 500 company has a triple-digit corporate staff. Nucor, which
ranked No. 189 on the list in 2005, has about 65 corporate employees.
Realty World is
much the same. Few people at corporate sharing a vision:
Passionate
about Real Estate, Can be the best in the World, and Recognize what
drives the economic engine - Realtors! Living the Hedgehog
concept, every decision is measured against those 3 principles.
Keeping it
simple means a flat monthly fee for Franchise/advertising. No
percentages, no fancy software to track closings, no auditors, no up or
down streams to watch, not having to collect and monitor higher splits
so we'll have profit to share, no start stop percentages to worry about
or track ($125 for franchise, $25 for advertising every month).
KISS says
realtors stay focused on Real Estate, leave recruiting to recruiters.
KISS means a
referral system between Brokers, no percentage paid to Corporate, no
tracking, auditing, no extra people confusing communication, or getting
a percentage of Realtors funds for.... passing on a name!
KISS means
Webinar Training, so 1 instructor can reach 1,000 students at one time.
Live instruction with questions/answers, without travel expense.
Corporate is
smart enough to let each broker set his own commission policy, they
realize each market has different averages and cost of living.
Each Broker decides what they will set for their area. |
